this role will require either a degree in a related discipline or with3 or more years expeirence in hospitality sales.
at the moment we're looking for an experienced director of conference & events to assist with the pre-opening of our brand new intercontinental danang resort in vietnam.

-sales meetings and facility coordination and presentations
-direct and regular interaction with our regional ihg sales teams locally and across international boundaries
-building up the convention centre in the local, with overall responsibility for hotel operations in conference & events, engaging and retaining team members; managing a small but highly engaged team of 4
-ensuring an exceptional quality delivery (data input, client communication, delivery of meeting & event experience)
you will be responsible for the meet and greet and first point of contact for new business to the hotel in line with the hotel sales plan and with hotel strategy,
this integral role will provide opening support to the director of sales & marketing, national and international community - putting it on the global map
